Strelitzia reginae

Description
Growing to 1.5m in height and 1.5m wide. Bird of Paradise, excellent ornamental plant with spectacular and distinctive orange and blue flowers. Flowering occurs in spring and early summer.

Where to grow
Prefers full sun or part shade. Keep soil moist and feed throughout the growing season. Flowering can be encouraged by keeping the plants slightly potbound. This plant will need protection in winter, ideally keep indoors during the cooler months.
